Oh man…that…that.  That is more lonely and hard than anything, in my experience.  I never did it gracefully.  You just keep your chin up and understand that there are a million fish in the sea for you, too.  Or, learn to appreciate the subtle, wonderful nuances of being alone, and be strong in that.
